Never, Ever Give Up. Arthur’s Inspirational Transformation! – VIDEO

Here is a powerful success story of a disabled war veteran’s Self-Healing with Yoga.

Doctors told Arthur Boorman that he would never be able to walk again unassisted.

After 15 years of disabled living, Arthur got into Yoga and, after a lot of work and many failures, succeeded in reversing his disability.

Arthur did the work.

Fortunately for us, we can see the results in this Video:

I am always looking for inspirational healing stories that I can pass on to students so they will begin believing in their own powers of Self-Healing.

While I have had the blessing of seeing many students reverse “incurable” conditions, I do not have a video like this to illuminate it so well.

Did you notice that for 15 years Arthur accepted the prognosis that he couldn’t get any better?

What’s important is that somewhere along the way living life as a disabled person, he decided to keep trying.

As Yogananda says, “The only way that you can fail is by giving up.”

We see how hard Arthur worked to heal himself. Most people won’t work that hard.

The good news is that most people don’t have to work as hard as he did.

In my more than forty years of practicing and teaching Yoga, I have found that often just by doing a bit more than you are used to will add greatly to your health and happiness.

As Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita, “Even a little practice of Yoga will save you from dire fears and colossal suffering.”

Hi Norm.
Please please help me. The Doc has prescribed Viagra for my acute ED
Do you have any cure with the Yoga exercises? I am told Viagara is not good when you have a heart condition. But who knows when one’s heart is weak or whatever?
Please do reply to my question with a workable solution. My partner and I will be immencely greatful to you.

Hi Rizan,

As you may be aware, yoga teaches us to try to find a natural solution first, because, as in the case of Viagra not recommended for men with a heart condition, all medicines pose some risks of negative side effects.

Here are two ways that the practice of yoga may help a man to reverse Erectile Dysfunction:

1. By helping him to relax better to relieve stress and anxiety. Yoga Deep Relaxation, Breathing, and Meditation along with the stretching will help here.

2. By helping improve local blood and lymph circulation to reverse circulatory impairment as a result of lack of exercise or the negative effects of sitting for long periods at a computer, for example. While all the yoga postures are of value, the ShoulderStand and other inverted poses should be emphasized.

In their book, Surgery and Its Alternatives: How to Make the Right Choices for Your Health, Doctors Sandra A. McLanahan and David J. McLananhan recommend doing the ShoulderStand and other yoga postures to help reverse ED, enlarged prostate, hemorrhoids, and other problems related to poor circulation. This book has detailed recommendations for vitamins and diet that may also help reverse ED. The doctors also have more information to help you understand the problem and how to heal the condition.

My God such an inspiration. Was he (Arthur) really that crippled and is that him running, did all that really happen, as in is that a true story. Just proves, never ever give up.

All true. As the great yogi Paramahansa Yogananda has said, “The only way you can fail is by giving up.”
