Whether you have been suffering from chronic pain for years, or whether you just want to loosen up your neck some, these simple movements can help you.

In my yoga classes over the years,  I have helped hundreds of students improve flexibility, increase range of motion, reduce pain, and heal their necks with this technique.

Note: If you have a lot of pain, move very slowly and gently in a way that increases your range of motion without aggravating the condition.

This video was shot in a my studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico so you may hear some church bells along with traffic noises in the background and maybe a cat or dog, all of which are very indicative of what it is like to be in downtown San Miguel.

This video clip is taken from my DVD,  Easy Yoga for Home, Office & Studio, which also includes similar movements designed to improve circulation, reduce pain, and promote healing for the eyes and all of the joints.

I just discovered your neck pain video as I was tooling around the internet looking for neck and shoulder pain exercises. At almost 63 I am hesitant to go to a yoga class where I live because everyone here is young and limber, even in the few senior classes. And the teachers don’t know how to deal with injuries because they are young too, not entirely spiritual and push people to athletic heights.

I have had neck pain on and off for years, but in the past week the left side of my neck has been in spasm and my shoulder is increasingly very painful. I tried a few other videos but yours, including doing the triangular pose against the wall for shoulder pain, works the best!

In 24 hours of doing these exercises many times, I’d say my pain is less than 50% of what it was, which is of great relief. I still have a way to go, but there is hope.

Thanks for all you do. I’ll keep you posted with my progress.

Namaste,
Irene

Hi Susan. I salute you for wanting to get off of your anti anxiety medication. Some years ago, when it seemed that so many women were on Prozac, I taught several to relax well enough with yoga that they no longer needed medication.

So the key with yoga is to RELAX & HEAL.

The very practices that will help you to reverse your chronic neck and back pain will also help you to get off of medication.

So this “Heal Your Neck Now! Video” will help a great deal but you need to move gently, slowly, without force and be patient. This is true for all the videos.

Also your neck will be helped by Hands, Shoulders, Upper Back, Chest, Wrists, Fingers – VIDEO.

Do Self-Heal Back Pain Yoga VIDEO Parts 1,2,3.

You can keep practicing with these, and if they feel good to you and you want to have a complete class to practice, Click on my Products for more detailed help.

To answer your EFT question: I cannot say “how long doing eft before you notice a difference” because this is an entirely individual matter that depends upon many factors.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you, but I had some problems with the “Comments section” of my website.

Please let me know if I may help you further,
Namasté,
Norman
